Where the there is power , there are mortals seeking to gain it, ; even when said power would destroy them as well, some madmen and madwomen will still cling to the opportunity. The depraved cultist is a class for the nihilist who seek seeks to end everything, the insane doomsaying cultist, the kindly pastor with a dark secret , and so on. The methods of various dark cultists are extremely different, ; some gain power in high society while other others work alone as dregs in the street, and anything in between. Not all depraved cultist cultists are interested in dying for their master, ; many believe they have escape plans, contingencies , or perhaps that their devotion will spare them, though most are usually wrong though.
