Illuminating blast
Evocation (Creation) [Force]
Level: Cleric 8, Druid 8, Sorcerer/Wizard 8, Warmage 8
Components: V, S, M
Casting time: Standard + channel
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target, Effect or Area: Line
Duration: instant or 10 rounds
Saving Throw: Reflex half and Reflex negates; see text
Spell Resistance: no

The caster tosses a marble into the air as they finish speaking a spell and it begins to levitate accumulating energy. as the small sphere glows bigger it gets brighter. When it's power is released its blast travels forward in a large wave!

The initial ball of light is the same as a torch-light glow (easily mistaken for a Light spell), its light radius increases per round channeled.

The ball can release it's power releasing a wave of light and force damage.

Each creature in the wave is blinded for 1d4 rounds. A successful Reflex save negates the blindness and reduces the damage by half.
