Artifice Crafter[edit]

What purpose do our dreams serve if we cannot create our own?

Prerequisite: Dreamweaver Class

You are the creator of your dreams, and your creations serve a greater purpose than just becoming amble thoughts. They are yours to control. Under the guidance of your deity, you can let loose your creations and strike fear right into the hearts of your enemies, or you can shine the light upon your enemies and let the hammer of fate decide their impending doom.

Artifice Crafter Path Features[edit]

Artifice Action (11th Level): When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you also gain one Dream Point.
Create Dreams (11th Level): An artifice crafter deals additional damage when they collect Dream Points, which can be obtained by accomplishing certain actions, such as using Channel Divinity powers, dealing damage with daily powers, or by healing party members. Each Dream Point accumulated can be spent to further empower an attack power by dealing damage. 1 Dream Point adds an additional damage die to the attack power. See the tables below for more about Dream Points.
Artifice Trade (16th Level): You can convert one Dream Point to a +5 bonus to attack rolls, AC or one other defense, saving throw, or skill check as a free action.

Artifice Crafter Prayers[edit]

Artifice Control
You throw out one of your creations and the opponent comes under your control for a brief time.
Encounter ✦ Divine, Implement, Psychic
Standard Action Ranged 5
Target: One creature
Attack: Wisdom vs. Will
Hit: 1d10 + Wisdom modifier Psychic damage, and the target is dominated until the end of your next turn.
Sustain Minor: The target takes 1d6 Psychic damage, and is dominated

Harnessed Dreams
Artifice Crafter Utility 12
You craft more dreams from a single point in your mind, giving yourself a temporary boon of power.
Daily ✦ Divine
Minor Action Personal
Effect: You gain 2 Dream Points and you use one immediately, giving you a +5 bonus to your next attack roll.

Artificer's Wrath
Your weapon becomes the center point of your creations, as the power of your deity gives you focus.
Daily ✦ Divine, Implement, Weapon
Standard Action Melee Weapon
Target: One creature
Attack: Intelligence vs. Armor Class
Hit: 3[W]+ Intelligence modifier damage, and the target is immobilized (save ends).
Special: Spend 1 Dream Point to increase the damage to 5[W]+ Intelligence modifier damage, and the target is immobilized and marked (save ends both). You cannot spend more than 1 Dream Point for this power.

Artifice Crafter Dream Points[edit]

Artifice Crafters have a maximum cap of 4 Dream Points and cannot exceed this amount at any given point during an encounter.

Effect Number of Dream Points gained
Spend an Action Point 1
Use a Daily attack power 1
Use a Channel Divinity power 2
Wake up from a Short Rest 1*
Wake up from an Extended Rest 2*
Reach a Milestone 1
*When you wake up from a short or extended rest, all Dream Points not expended will be taken away and you start with 1 or 2 Dream Points respectively

---

When you spend a Dream Point to... Effect
Increase attack power +3 bonus to attack rolls
Increase damage* Increase damage of attack by one hit die
Improve skill checks +3 bonus to chosen skill check
Improve saving throws +2 bonus to saving throws
Increase defenses +2 bonus to AC and one other defense of your choice
Improve speed of power +2 bonus to speed
All of the above effect bonuses last until the end of your next turn, or you can sustain the effect as a minor action on your next turn. You can only spend one Dream Point at a time in this fashion. A new Dream Point spent on a new effect supersedes a previous effect.
*Increasing the damage for an attack is an exception; you can spend more than one dream point to increase the amount of damage for an attack power. In this case, the effect lasts until the end of your current turn.
