1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

The combat parasol is a weaponized umbrella which can be used as a bludgeoning tool, as well as a sheathe for the hidden blade inside. It is in fact two weapons in one, the umbrella and the blade. The blade is designed to be easily drawn and sheathed in an instant; if the umbrella body is in your hand you can draw the blade part out as a free action, and if you possess the Quick Draw feat you can sheathe it as a free action.

While you can use both as weapons, if you unfurl the umbrella portion of the sheathe you can use it as a shield. It cannot be used as a bludgeoning weapon in this state, but grants cover (+4 AC and +2 Reflex saves), though you can't use the cover to hide behind. It may be enhanced as if it were a shield with a +0 AC bonus, applicable whenever the umbrella is unfurled.

Combat parasols that are masterwork quality never risk being inverted in high winds, and actually can be used as makeshift parachutes. When unfurled, combat parasols reduce falling damage by 1 die (to a minimum of 0 dice).

Although both umbrella and blade are one-handed weapons, they are treated as light weapons when beneficial. You can neither wield a combat parasol's sheathe nor blade in two hands in order to apply 1½ times your Strength bonus to damage.
