Ghostlight Exorcist

A ghostlight exorcist is a master at using the Ghostlight, a tool which is used to repel incorporeal undead. Through her journey in the class he will learn how to use the ghostlight to make incorporeal undead vulnerable, eventually seal them away and finally use her ghostlight to hurt corporeal undead and fiends.

Becoming a Ghostlight Exorcist

Entry Requirements  

Base Attack Bonus:	+4.
Skills:	Knowledge (Religion) 5 ranks.
Special:	Must possess a Ghostlight.

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Ghostlight Exorcist.

Ghostlight Proficiency (Ex): A 1st level ghostlight exorcist is an expert at wielding the Ghostlight, the DC of the ghostlight become DC 10 + 1/2 HD + the ghostlight exorcist's Charisma modifier (if better) and the damage dealt by his ghostlight also increase by 1d6 per class level.

Additionally as a swift action he can focus his ghostlight in a 60 feet cone-shaped spread or a 120 feet line for 1 round.

Sense Ghost (Su): A 1st level ghostlight exorcist can detect ghost and other incorporeal undeads within 60 feet of you and pinpoint their location, this ability work even if they are currently ethereal.

Turn Undead (Su): A 1st level ghostlight exorcist gain the ability to turn undead as a good cleric, his effective cleric level for turning is equal to his character level.

Protection Against Ghost (Su): A 2nd level ghostlight exorcist is always under the effect of, however it protect him against incorporeal creature of any alignment. Additionally he can use his normal AC against the touch attack of incorporeal creatures

Phantom Striker (Su): At 2nd level, any weapon wielded by a ghostlight exorcist (including unarmed strike and natural weapon) gain the Ghost Touch enhancement for as long as he wield it.

Ghostkiller (Ex): A 3rd level ghostlight exorcist is used in fighting invisible opponents, he gain the Creature Killer: Invisible Stalker feat as a bonus feat even if he do not meet the prerequisites.

Exorcise Possession (Su): A 4th level ghostlight exorcist is an expert at detecting and ending possession. He can feel the presence of a creature being currently possessed by magic jar or similar ability within 60 feet of him, the sense is not precise enough to allow his to pinpoint it location, he simply know it there.

Secondly he may force the spirit possessing such a creature as a full-round action with a melee touch attack, the possessing creature is allowed a will save (DC based on his highest mental ability score modifier) or be forced out. If the creature it is possessing is helpless it is simply expelled without a saving throw.

Seal Away (Ex): A 5th level, whenever a ghostlight exorcist is within close range of a that can either rejuvenate (such as ghost) or respawn (such as liches) at the moment of it destruction, he may spend a single turn attempt to attempt to permanently seal the creature's essence in his ghostlight. The creature is allowed a Will save (DC based on his highest mental ability modifier). On a failure the creature's essence is dragged in the ghostlight and remain imprisoned until the particular ghostlight used in sealing it is destroyed. A particular ghostlight can hold any number of creature, however since all sealed spirits are released upon it destruction it is wise to use multiple ghostlights.

He can also attempt to use seal away on any creature he expelled with his exorcise possession ability as they are expelled.

Ghostlight Banisher (Su): At 6th level a ghostlight exorcist's ghostlight now apply against all undead as well as outsider with the [evil] subtype, although it only deal half damage. This ability may be resumed or suppressed as a move action.
