Hero's Coma
Transmutation
Level: Sloth 5, Sorcerer/Wizard 5
Components: V, S
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: 1 creature
Duration: 1 hour plus 12 hours; see text
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates (if unwilling)
Spell Resistance: No

An attempt at improving upon the heroes' feast spell, the subject of this spell is not required to eat to gain the benefits of the feast. Instead, they gain the entire meal all at once and have to sleep it off to prevent allegedly horrific illness and diarrhea. Whether or not it is an actual improvement over its predecessor is up for debate.

Upon casting, the target must make a Fortitude save (provided they are an unwilling recipient of the spell) or be rendered unconscious for 1 hour, during which they cannot be resuscitated short of a break enchantment spell or similar effect. At the conclusion of this period of catatonia, the subject awakens with all the benefits of heroes' feast for its normal duration. A subject that succeeds on their saving throw or does not remain unconscious for the allotted time period, they do not gain the benefits of the feast.
