Stormcaller[edit]

Fear the storm! You know not of the devastation it will cause.

Prerequisite: Songweaver

In the elder days, a small group of songweavers listened to many storms, listening to the stormsong that is at the heart of each storm. From the disharmony, they learned music; songs that could be used to call upon the powers of the storm. You have learned this ancient art, and have mastered the power of the storm through your music.

Stormcaller Path Features[edit]

Stormsong Action (11th Level): When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you deal lightning damage to each adjacent enemy.
Lightning Song (11th Level): Creatures hit by your attacks take a -1 penalty to AC until the start of your next turn.
Lighting Harmonist (16th Level): If you miss with attack roll for an attack that deals cold, thunder, lightning or force damage, you can re-roll the attack roll with a +1 bonus to the roll.


Stormcaller Powers[edit]

Call the Storm
Stormcaller Attack 11
You sing to the powers of the storm, using your stormcaller arts to create a powerful storm around you.
Encounter ✦ Arcane, Variable, Implement
Standard Action Close burst 2
Target: Each enemy in burst
Attack: Charisma vs. Reflex
Hit: 2d8 + Charisma modifier cold, force, lightning or thunder damage (choose one for all targets). The attack has an additional effect based on the damage type.
  • Force or Thunder: Slide the target a number of squares equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1).
  • Cold or Lightning: The target is dazed until the end of your next turn.

Defy the Storm
Stormcaller Utility 12
You defy the powers of the storm turned against you, shielding an ally from its wrath.
Encounter ✦ Arcane
Immediate Interrupt Close burst 5
Trigger: You or one ally in burst takes cold, force, lighhtning or thunder damage.
Target: You or triggering ally in burst
Effect: You make an Arcana check and divide the result by 2. The damage the target takes from the triggering attack is reduced by the result.

Discord of the Storm
Stormcaller Attack 20
Your discordant song calls a raging malestrom around you.
Daily ✦ Arcane, Variable, Implement, Zone
Standard Action Close burst 2
Target: Each enemy in burst
Attack: Charisma vs. Reflex
Hit: 3d8 + Charisma modifier cold, force, lightning or thunder damage (choose one for all targets)
Miss: Half damage.
Effect: This burst creats a zone of storms that lasts until the end of your next turn. The zone's effect depends upon the damage type.
  • Force or Thunder: At the end of each of your turns whilst the zone persists, slide each creature in the zone 2 squares.
  • Cold or Lightning: Any enemy that starts its turn within the zone takes a -2 penalty to all attack rolls until the end of your next turn.
Sustain Minor: The zone persists.
