Feather tokens. They're wonderful cheap one use items which belong in everyone's inventory. Some have learned to always pack more than one, and improve the ones they have on hand. These are the token masters.

Becoming a Token Master[edit]

Skills: Appraise 6 ranks.
Feats: Bag Full of Knick Knacks.
Special: Must have used a feather token.

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Token Master.

Bag Full of Tokens (Ex): You always have a feather token at the ready. You can draw any feather token (as if using Bag Full of Knick Knacks no more than 200 gp value up to 3 + your class level tokens per day. For example, you could draw four feather token anchors, or two anchors and two feather token fans. This doesn't deplete the gold amount from Bag Full of Knick Knacks.

At 2nd level and each level beyond, the value amount increases by +100 gp. At 5th level, the amount becomes 100 gp/HD you possess (so, a minimum of 800 gp and up).

Class Advancement: Choose a class when you enter token master. You gain the base HD, base attack bonus, good and poor saving throws, skills known, and skill points known of your previous class. You do not gain any other features of your class. However, at 2nd level and every level beyond, you gain all the class features of your previous class as if you were leveling in your previous class.

Token Augmentation: The token master can get more out of a token than most folks. When using an actual feather token (and not one produces via Bag Full of Tokens), the feather token gains an improved effect as shown below.

Anchor Token can anchor any object or creature, DC 15 Reflex to negate. If anchored to a creature, a creature cannot move until they escape the rope bindings (DC 15 Escape Artist, or DC 20 Strength check) as a standard action.
Bird Bird can make a return trip, and travel takes no more than 24 hours each way.
CampsitePF Campsite comes with enough food and drink for six medium creatures and six steeds. Campsite and those inside are under the effect of endure elements.
CatapultPF Catapult is a +1 catapult, and automatically grants proficiency and a +5 bonus to checks made to fire the catapult.
Fan Fan functions in any environment, and can produce up to 50 mph (severe winds) out to a 60 ft line.
Floating FeatherPF Weight limit increased to 600 lbs, and last for 10 minutes.
LancePF The produced lance is under the effect of greater magic weapon with a caster level equal to your class level (or your HD at Token Master 5th and beyond).
RamPF The huge ram is animated, as a animated object of it's size. It cannot attack, it can only move and function as a ram.
Siege TowerPF The siege tower moves on its own at a speed of 10 feet.
Sky HookPF The talon can be moved mentally as a move action with no Strength check. It moves up to 20 ft each round, and can mentally commanded to pick up or release unattended objects or willing creatures.
Swan Boat You can conjure a small junk instead.
Tar and FeathersPF Tarred and feathered creatures become very flammable. The next time they take fire damage, they catch fire.
Tree The tree you create can be unstable. If it takes at least 20 points of damage in a single turn (hardness 5), it will fall over, crushing creatures in up to a 60 ft line. This deals 6d6 points of damage and renders creatures prone. A DC 15 Reflex save halves the damage and negates the prone effect.
Whip The whip is not stopped by natural armor or armor bonuses like normal whips. You may use your own base attack bonus if larger.

Craft Feather Token: The 2nd token master can craft feather tokens as if he possessed the Craft Wondrous Item feat. He does not need to provide the pre-requisites for crafting, simply time, xp, and gold.

Launch Token (Ex): The 2nd level token master needs not activate a feather token at their own feet. They can throw a feather token with a range increment of 20 ft, and have the token activate on impact.

Rapid Deployment (Ex): The 3rd level token master can activate (or throw due to Launch Token) feather tokens as a move action.

Improved Token Augmentation: The 4th token master's augmentations improve to the table shown below, though they can always choose to select a lesser effect. In addition, the normal Token Augmentations now apply to the tokens produced from Bag Full of Tokens.

Anchor The Reflex save is now 10 + 1/2 HD + your highest mental ability score. The anchor can be released and retracted multiple times for it's duration.
Bird The bird can now cross planes and survive in any environment, even flying in space. It can carry materials up to the storage capacity of a handy haversack.
CampsitePF Campsite duplicates the effect of secure shelter.
CatapultPF Catapult becomes an animated object of it's size (Huge) with a +10 bonus on its checks. You can only have one such animated catapult active at one time.
Fan Fan can produce up to 74 mph winds (windstorm) in up to a 60 ft line, or 50 mph winds in a 30 ft cone.
Floating FeatherPF Weight limit increased to 1800 lbs, and last for 1 hour.
LancePF The produced lance is a dancing lance (in addition to the greater magic weapon effect).
RamPF The ram can launch itself as a projectile in a 120 ft line, bull rushing all creatures in the effect with your character level to the Strength check + 10. This destroys the ram.
Siege TowerPF The siege tower can levitate up to 60 ft high, but it's speed is reduced to 5 ft and it can be easily bull rushed as if it had a +0 modifier to bull rushes.
Sky HookPF The sky hook can make grapple checks to grab unwilling creatures, using your HD + your highest mental ability score for it's grapple score. It can grapple up to Large sized creatures.
Swan Boat The boat you conjure can travel in any liquid environment, even lava, without damage, or any soft particular surface (such as sand).
Tar and FeathersPF The tar and feather effect also entangles the creature (as per a tanglefoot bag), and the creature takes a -10 penalty to grapple checks while entangled.
Tree The tree is unusually large, up to 180 ft high and 15 ft wide, with a 120 ft diameter top.
Whip The whip now deals force damage, and can constrict grappled targets once a round.

Combat: You have an item for every situation, and you excel at finding unconventional solutions for complex problems.

Advancement: Because token masters effectively remain as a member of their original class, classes good for the original are good for the token master.

Resources: Token masters often find home in rogueish places, places which rely on magical trinkets to survive.

Characters with ranks in Knowledge Arcana can research token masters to learn more about them. When a character makes a skill check, read or paraphrase the following, including information from lower DCs.
