== Fungus Type ==

Fungus and plants in the real world belong to two different kingdoms and are very different. This aims to give fungus creatures their own unique features. Fungus creatures are fungi monsters and mold creatures for the purposes of this article.


======Features======


A Fungus creature has the following features unless otherwise noted.

* 8-sided [[SRD:Hit Dice (Creature Statistic)|Hit Dice]].
* [[SRD:Base Attack Bonus|Base attack bonus]] equal to 3/4 total [[SRD:Hit Dice (Creature Statistic)|Hit Dice]] (as [[SRD:Cleric|cleric]]).
* Good [[SRD:Saving Throw|Fortitude]] saves.
* [[SRD:Skill Descriptions|Skill points]] equal to (2 + [[SRD:Intelligence|Int]] modifier, minimum 1) per [[SRD:Hit Dice (Creature Statistic)|Hit Die]], with quadruple [[SRD:Skill Points|skill points]] for the first [[SRD:Hit Dice (Creature Statistic)|Hit Die]], if the fungus] creature has an [[SRD:Intelligence|Intelligence]] score. However, some fungus creatures are mindless and gain no [[SRD:Skill Points|skill points]] or [[SRD:Feats|feats]].

====== Traits ======

A Fungus creature possesses the following traits (unless otherwise noted in a creature’s entry).

* [[SRD:Low-Light Vision|Low-light vision]] and [[SRD:Darkvision|Darkvision]], darkvision for fungus creatures is half of their regular vision and low light vision. 
* Immunity to all [[SRD:Mind-Affecting Effect|mind-affecting]] effects ([[SRD:Charm Subschool|charms]], [[SRD:Compulsion Subschool|compulsions]], [[SRD:Phantasm Subschool|phantasms]], [[SRD:Pattern Subschool|patterns]], and morale effects).
* Immunity to [[SRD:Poison|poison]], disease,  sleep effects, [[SRD:Paralyzed|paralysis]], [[SRD:Polymorph (Spell)|polymorph]], magic that specifically affects plant type creatures or plants and [[SRD:Stunned|stunning]].
* Not subject to [[SRD:Critical Hit|critical hits]].
* Proficient with its [[SRD:Natural Weapons|natural weapons]] only.
* Proficient with no [[SRD:Armor|armor]].
* Fungus creatures breathe and eat, but do not sleep.
* If subject to certain light spells such as sunbeam, sunburst, etc they  take damage just as if they were undead creatures.
* Survival is always a class skill for fungus creatures even if mindless, if mindless they have half their hit dice as survival ranks.
* +4 bonus on checks to avoid drowning
