The rod of the twinfiend acts as a ''+1 heavy mace'' and represents a story of twin fiends, brothers, who were opposites and rivals yet eventually found themselves inseparable.  The red demon head was known to be aggressive to a fault, while the blue demon head was passive yet no less dangerous.  You may perform any of the following as a swift action.

*''Bloodflame Yell:'' You augment your next attack made before the end of the round (either with a weapon or a spell) to carry an extra +5 points of hellfire damage.  If you fail to cause any damage by miss or save, the flames consume the user in its hunger dealing 1 point of hellfire damage to themselves.

*''Bluefire Cloak:'' You wrap yourself in blue ghost fire that lasts until the beginning of your next turn.  Any creature attacking you in melee with a non-reach weapon take +5 points of hellfire damage in retort.  Creatures at range also take damage (even by spells), but only take 2 points of damage.  Attacks which do not deal damage (such as a ''[[SRD:Confusion|confusion]]'' spell) do not count.  If you are not damaged by any means before damage reduction or resistances, the flames consume the user in its hunger dealing 1 point of hellfire damage to themselves.

*''Chaos Scream:'' You project a powerful scream, dealing 10 sonic damage to all creatures in 5 ft of you and pushing them back 5 ft.  A successful [[Fortitude]] save DC 10 + 1/2 HD + your highest mental ability modifier negates the movement but not the damage.  The rod's functions shut off for 1 round as the heads recover.
