Spontaneous Divine Spellcasting Partial

Warseer

The Warseer is is ways similar to the Paladin, however she is not chosen for her righteousness. Instead she is shown a powerful vision by her God, Gods or even God-like beings. The vision then inspire them, allow them to draw power and shape their life henceforth. The Warseer is a divine spellcaster with powerful divination abilities, allowing them to fight on the same feet as many combatant, all the while providing useful divination and abilities.

Making a Warseer

Abilities: A Warseer require both Charisma and Wisdom for her spellcasting and class abilities, she also benefits from a high Constitution. If she want to be effective at range or melee combat she usually need either a good Strength or Dexterity, although it can be remedied through feats.

Races: Any

Alignment: Any.

Starting Gold: As Wizard.

Starting Age: Complex.

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Warseer.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Warseer is proficient with all martial and simple weapon but not in any armor or shields.

Spells: A Warseer is a divine spellcaster much like a Cleric, however she is not restricted by her alignment when casting her spell. A Warseer is a sponatenous spellcaster, does not prepare her spells ahead of time. Unlike a Sorcerer she does not need to know a spell beforehand, instead she can cast directly from her spell list. However she does possess domains like a cleric, and may cast any of her domain spell in her domain spell slot but not in others. The Warseer use her Charisma to determine the DCs of her spell, however she use her Wisdom for the amount of additional spell slot she gain from a high ability score and the highest level spell she can cast. A Warseer cast their spells from the following list:

0—Detect alignment, detect magic, know direction, read magic.

1st—astral fugue, analyse object, augury, comprehend languages, detect thoughts, guidance, identify, identify symbol, object insight, true dodge, true strike.

2nd—Clairaudience/clairvoyance, confusion, divine insightSpC, find traps, locate object, locate portal, see invisibility, see through fog, status, reveal doom, tongues.

3rd—Analyse event, arcane eye, arcane sight, detect survivors, discern lies, divination, lesser telepathic bond, locate creature, scrying.

4th—Analyse teleportation, commune, commune with nature, contact other plane, curse of misfortune, dangerous divination, greater clairaudience/clairvoyance, greater status, probe thoughts, prying eyes, telepathic bond.

5th—Analyse dweomer, brain spider, find the path, insanity, minimal effort, stone tell, true seeing.

6th—Discern location, eye of the gods, foresight, greater arcane sight, greater scrying, greater prying eyes, moment of prescience, time stop, vision.

A Warseer's spellcasting cannot benefits from the Ascended Progression feat and cannot be made into scrolls or consumable items as is. She may still craft magic consumables with the spells on her spell list, but they are treated as of the same level as they are found on either the Cleric, Druid or Wizard spell list. In addition, for the purpose of [Reserve] feat, she may treat her spells as either the level they appears on the Warseer list, the Sorcerer/Wizard or Cleric spell list whenever beneficial.

Battle Prediction (Su): As a swift action, a Warseer can grant herself on a single ally within close range her battle prediction bonus as an insight bonus to attack roll, damage roll and AC for 1 round. She may use this ability a number of time per day equal to 1/2 class level + her Wisdom modifier.

Domains: A Warseer choose two domain granted by her deity, she may also always choose the Oracle domainSpC even if her deity does not grant it.

Vision: Upon entering the class, the Warseer receive a specific vision from the Gods. Once chosen it cannot be changed, as it dictate what Discoveries are available to her as well as her Prophetic Revelation. The Warseer gain a vision's initial bonus and may select a Discovery from her Vision's list at 3rd level and each 3 level thereafter. A Warseer choose her Vision from the following list: Warseer (3.5e Class)/Visions

Precognitive Dodge (Su): A 2nd level Warseer is capable of easily dodging out of the way of incoming attacks by swiftly predicting them. The Warseer add her Charisma or Wisdom bonus as an insight bonus to her AC and Reflex save in addition to their normal ability score. She does not benefit from this ability is she wears any armor, is using a shield heavier than a light shield or is carrying a medium load or heavier.

As long as a Warseer benefit from Precognitive Dodge she also benefit from Evasion as a Rogue.

Uncanny Dodge (Ex): At 2nd level, the Warseer gain Uncanny Doge as the Barbarian's class feature.

Discovery: At 3rd level and each 3 level thereafter, the Warseer select a Discovery from either her Vision list or the list below. Once this choice is made it cannot be changed. Unless specified otherwise a Discovery can only be selected once.

Bonus Feat: Choose a feat you meet the prerequisite for, you gain that feat as a bonus feat. You may select this ability twice.

Insightful Attack (Ex): The Warseer add her Charisma or Wisdom to damage roll when attacking with a melee or ranged weapon, this is done in addition to the original ability score and do not stack with similar abilities.

Forewarning (Su): The Warseer may as an immediate action warn an ally of the danger of their actions. This allow the warned creature to reroll any one d20 roll made until the start of their next turn. This ability may be used once per creature per day but is otherwise at-will.

Perceive Beyond (Ex): When the Warseer is blinded or when she close her eyes, gain blindsense out of 40 feet and blindsight out of 20 feet.

Precognition (Su): As an immediate action, the Warseer may reroll one failed saving throw or force an opponent to reroll a critical confirmation roll. She must accept the second result even if it worse. After using this ability she must wait 5 rounds before using it again.

See the Unseen (Su): The Warseer is under a constant see invisibility effect. The Warseer must be 6th level or higher to select this Discovery.

Talented Spellsurge (Su): Once per day per three class level, the Warseer may cast a spell in one of her domain spells as a swift action using one of her regular spell slot of the same level. The spell must require 1 round or less to cast. The Warseer must be 9th level or higher to select this Discovery.

Pierce Protection (Ex): A 4th level Warseer gain half her class level as a competence bonus on checks and save made to pierce anti-divination protection such as nondetection or misdirection.

Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex): At 4th level, the Warseer gain Improved Uncanny Doge as the Barbarian's class feature. She use her warseers level as her effective barbarian level for this ability.

Fateful Prediction (Su): At the start of the encounter, a Warseer of 7th level may make a powerful internal prediction. Choose a future turn beside the 1st and 2nd (such as the 3rd turn of the combat or 5th). During that turn you reroll all d20 and damage roll twice, taking the best result.

Foretold Destiny (Su): A 8th level Warseer always act in surprise rounds and add her Charisma or Wisdom bonus to her initiate checks.

Prophetize (Su): An 11th level Warseer is capable of tapping in her Vision to greatly increase the power of her divination. She may lengthen the casting time of her divination to 24 hours, if she does she double her caster level for that divination and it has no failure chances. She perform such act only once per month, as the Gods don't easily reveal their secrets.

At 14th level they may Prophetize once per week. At 17th level the Warseer may do so without any waiting time between sessions.

Immortal: A 13th level Warseer no longer dies when she reach her maximum age.

Ignore Defenses (Ex): A 16th level Warseer is able to pierce effect which lesser men and women cannot. She she cast a divination spell she ignore mind blank and similar defenses from creature whose CR does not exceed her own by 4 or more points.

Supreme Preparedness (Su): A 19th level Warseer is considered to always roll 20 on their initiative checks.

Prophetic Revelation: A 20th level Warseer gain the Prophetic Revelation of her Vision. Upon receiving her Revelation she forevermore become an Outsider with her form type as augmented subtype, she also gain DR 10/Alignment and the ability to plane shift (self only) at-will. The Warseer is still raised from the dead like her previous type.
