Nonlethal Field
Abjuration
Level: Assassin 2, Cleric 3, Paladin 2, Ranger 3
Components: V, S
Casting time: 1 spell action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Area: 5ft/level radius sphere
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

The warlock fires a vitriolic blast at you just as you finish muttering the incantations. You faint from the attack, but right before you close your eyes, you watch as your barbarian buddy rushes to strike the warlock.

You create a sphere that has a minimum radius of 10 feet and a maximum radius of 5 feet per caster level, though you may decide its radius within that limit. In that sphere, all lethal damage becomes converted to nonlethal damage.

A creature may make a fortitude save upon attacking a creature inside the sphere. If the fortitude save is successful, any attacks done by this creature deal damage normally. Each creature may only attempt this save once.

Creatures immune to nonlethal damage are dealt damage as normal.
