== Alchemical Saltanium ==
''This thick brine is extremely salty.  It tastes like tears and frustration.''

[[Summary::Said to be pure essence of salt torn from the quasielemental plane of salt, this bitter substance can drive men into a rage.]]  If consumed willingly, the user must make a DC 15 [[Fortitude]] save.  On a failed save they are nauseated for 1d4 rounds from the saltiness.  On a successful save, they enter a rage as a [[SRD:Barbarian|barbarian]] of their level.  At the end of their rage they gain a cumulative -2 morale penalty to attack, skills checks, and saving throws from the incredible anger they hold until they rest for 8 hours.

It can also be used as an injury poison, DC 15.  On a successful save they are sickened for 1d4 rounds, and on a failed save they enter a rage as a barbarian of their level for 1d4 rounds.  This can be particularly dangerous for spellcasters.  Immunity to mind-affecting effects renders one immune to this alchemical item.
