The bag of minions is a sack which holds up to 6 spongy eggs.  When these eggs are tossed on the ground, they spring up into a loyal (if weak) minion dedicated to serving you.  All minions speak common in addition to their normal languages regardless of their intelligence score.  These minions are real creatures which persist, eat, sleep, and do other activities of a normal creature and often with their own personality quirks (though they remain ever loyal to the owner of the bag).  You may have up to six minions persisting at a single time, and if a minion dies they will reform as an egg 1 week after their death.  Bags of minions come in either green hide pouches which creates [[SRD:Goblin|goblins]], or scaly pouch which creates [[SRD:Kobold|kobolds]].  Minions come complete with the basic abilities and items defined in their monster entry, and have no ability to grow in power or gain experience.  On death, their bodies and items they were created with dissolve into dust.

The minions will follow your orders to the best of their abilities, but act according to their natures (typically lawful evil and neutral evil for kobolds and goblins respectively), making any orders given to them a gamble for good aligned adventurers seeking to employ them.  They are under no special compulsion beyond their always helpful nature, and only refer to themselves as Number One through Number Six.  Its uncertain if memories carry over when a minion dies, though personality quirks do seem to persist.

It takes 24 hours for a bag to attune itself to a new owner.  They're usually found in the company of hobgoblins in need of trustworthy minions or dragons seeking kobold worshipers.
