Battlemage Skald
A battlemage skald is trained extensively in the use of war magic, at the cost of some of her musical talents. Typically trained in military academies, or trained directly by an evokers, and don't have access to the vast library of lore most skald do. However as a result of their training, their selection of spells is vastly increased, at least in regard to evocation. Many battlemage skalds are also spell warrior
Class: Skald
Level: 1st-20th
Replaces: Bardic Knowledge, Versatile Performance, Lore Master
Benefit: A battlemage skald receive the following class features:
War Magic (Ex): A battlemage skald start with Spell Focus (Evocation) as a bonus feat.
This ability replaces bardic knowledge.
Advanced Learning (Ex): At 2nd level and each 2 levels thereafter, the battlemage skald learns a single evocation spell from the Sorcerer/Wizard spell list. The spell must be one of a level she is able to cast. Upon learning a spell this way, it is considered on her spell list and added to her list of spell known.
This ability replaces versatile performance.
Battlemage's Focus (Ex): When using her raging song, a 7th level battlemage skald grants herself a +2 bonus on concentration checks, and her damaging spell deals +1 damage per dice rolled .
This ability replaces Lore Master.
