Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Blind Fighter.

Maneuvers: At 1st level, a Blind Fighter can use any maneuver from Blind Blade or the Shadow Hand disciplines. At 5th level, a Blind Fighter also gains access to Tiger Claw and Diamon Mind.

Maneuvers Usable: At the beginning of the day, the Blind Fighter concentrates his mind for 10 minutes, running though all their maneuvers. A Blind Fighters body and mind are connected and can use up to 2 + your Wis Mod +1 at first +2 at third +3 at fifth +4 at seventh.

Blind Sight (Ex): At level 1, a Blind Fighter gains Blind Sight 40 with an extending 20 feet of blindsense. At level 4, a blind fighter has Blind Sight 80 with 40 feet of blindsense. At 8th level, a Blind Fighter has Blind Sight 120 with 60 Feet of blindsense.

Target (Ex): At level 1, a Blind Fighter can select one person within his vision who he gains a +1 to hit against per 3 Blind Fighter levels. He also has a −1 to AC against everyone else while he has this ability active.

Sneak Attack: If a Blind Fighter can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage.

The Blind Fighter’s attack deals extra damage any time her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the Blind Fighter flanks her target. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, and it increases by 1d6 every two Blind Fighter levels thereafter. Should the Blind Fighter score a critical hit with a sneak attack, this extra damage is not multiplied.

Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet.

With a sap (blackjack) or an unarmed strike, a Blind Fighter can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack, not even with the usual –4 penalty.

A Blind Fighter can sneak attack only living creatures with discernible anatomies — undead, constructs, oozes, plants, and incorporeal creatures lack vital areas to attack. Any creature that is immune to critical hits is not vulnerable to sneak attacks. The Blind Fighter must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. A Blind Fighter cannot sneak attack while striking a creature with concealment or striking the limbs of a creature whose vitals are beyond reach.

Intuitive Defense: At level 3, a Blind Fighter adds his wisdom bonus to his AC. A Blind Fighter cannot see, but has great awareness of his surroundings.

Intuitive Attack: At level 6, a Blind Fighter may add his wisdom bonus to his attacks. Blind Fighters are trained in deadly fighting styles focusing on precise cuts.

Ex-Blind Fighter[edit]

If a Blind Fighter regains their eyesight through any manner, they automatically lose all their class abilities and can only regain them once they lose their sight again.
