|fluff=When you activate your shield, its color is tinted red, blue, green, yellow or violet, or a combination thereof. Energy attacks of a certain sort damage the shield less.
|benefit= Choose one energy type of: Fire, Cold, Acid, Electricity or Sonic. Your shield gains Energy Resistance 5 against that type of energy, thus allowing it to absorb more damage from that type of energy that from other attacks. This Energy Resistance increases by 5 for every +1 Deflection bonus to Armor Class your shield grants you (Up to ER 30 at level 15). When your shield is activated, its color is tinted based on the types of energy it resists - Red/orange: Fire; Blue: Cold, Green: Acid, Yellow: Electricity, Violet: Sonic. If your shield protects against multiple energy types, each color is has swirls lazily across the shield's surface, surging toward any attacks of the energy type made against the shield's creator.
