Poliwags are the larval offspring of Poliwhirls. Their legs are newly grown, and rather uncoordinated. They look not unlike a grape with two feet and a long, flat tail. Their skin is transparent over much of their body, allowing their internal organs to be clearly visible.

Every Poliwag has an internal whirlpool that spins their organs around in a clearly visible and disturbingly intriguing fashion. Their innards are dark blue, which gives the entire Poliwag the look of deep water. During the first few months of life, a Poliwag displays giant lips that allow the Poliwag to find its mouth easily. As it matures into a Poliwhirl, it grows hands and consumes its own tail and lips - leaving an invisible slit that it feeds itself with.

Poliwags eat indiscriminately, and everything they consume is clearly visible in their transparent bellies.

Combat

Watergun (Ex): A Poliwag can fire water from its mouth as a projectile weapon that inflicts 1d6 + Con Modifier damage, has a range increment of 20', and a threat range of 20, and a x2 crit multiplier.

Bubble (Ex): A Poliwag can inflict subdual damage instead of regular damage with its attacks at no penalty.

Hypnosis (Su): A Poliwag's internal organs are strangely mesmerizing. This functions as a gaze attack with a range of 30 ft., except that the Poliwag need not have its eyes open for it to function. Those who view its organs must make a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Charisma Modifier) or become hypnotized as per hypnotic pattern for 2d4 rounds.

The sample Poliwag has a DC of 11 for Hypnosis.

Skills: A Poliwag gains a +8 racial bonus to Jump checks and Swim checks, and is nearly invisible in water - giving it a +20 to Hide checks while submerged.
