Punishing Ward [1] is an eldritch invocation in 5th edition.
Prerequisite: 12th level, Pact of the Aegis
When a creature within 60ft of a target benefitting from your Pact Shield hits the target with an attack, they suffer Necrotic damage equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).
Additionally, if you know the Reactive Aegis invocation, when a creature within 60ft of a target benefitting from your Swift Barrier spell damages the barrier, they suffer Necrotic damage equal to your Charisma modifier, plus the amount of damage they dealt to the spell's barrier.
