The first book in Third Edition that focuses on combat. It was mostly used by both players and Dungeon Masters to get their fighters and monks new feats, prestige classes, weapons and other equipment from. The book also has some descriptions of the places where combat-oriented classes representatives dwell (monasteries, watch towers, arena, etc), as well as descriptions of their organisations (Red Avengers and Knight Protectors).

Some of this book's contents were updated for 3.5 in Complete Warrior.
