Elf[edit]

This is the elf for a world where elves, half-elves, and dwarves are all counted among the little folk.

Physical Description[edit]

These elves are like their average cousins, but are between 2'0" and 3'0".

Relations[edit]

Being closer in size to dwarves, these elves are not as distant from them. Their size also rivals them to goblins rather than orcs.

Alignment[edit]

Elves are often Chaotic Good.

Racial Traits[edit]

  • +2 Intelligence, -2 Strength: Though tougher and smarter than normal elves, these ones are weaker and clumsier.
  • Humanoid (Elf): An elf is an elf.
  • Small: As a Small creature, an elf gains a +1 size bonus to Armor Class, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, a –4 size penalty on special attack (bull rushes, grapples, overruns, and trips) checks, and a +4 size bonus on Hide checks, but it uses smaller weapons than humans use, and its lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of a Medium character.
  • Elf base land speed is 30 feet.
  • Darkvision: An elf can see in the dark up to 30 feet. Darkvision is black and white only, but it is otherwise like normal sight, and an elf can function just fine with no light at all.
  • Low-Light Vision: An elf can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. She retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
