Harmonic Competence (Mental) Your voices join in harmony, providing the perfect working music to focus on the task at hand.Prerequisites: Inspire Competence Bardic Music, Perform 3 ranksBenefit: Harmonic skill tricks are a free action, made as part of starting or joining one or more bardic music attempts. Only one singer need have the skill trick for it to function, though the extra benefits of the skill trick vanish if all singers with the skill trick cease.

Harmonic competence is made as part of an inspire competence attempt. The bonuses of additional inspire competence attempts stack, if they succeed on a Perform check DC 20. Each additional stacking bonus increases the Perform check DC by +5. A failed check means they were unable to join the song, though it has no other effects. Normal: Inspire competence only grants a +2 competence bonus on a skill check.Special: For each bard involved, the range of the countersong increases by +15 feet. Learning this skill trick grants you a +1 bonus on Perform checks.
