Alwin's Spell Siphon

Casting Time: 1 reaction, which you take when you see a creature within 60 feet of you casting a spell
Range: 60 feet

You attempt to siphon the energy of a spell while a creature is casting. If the creature is casting a spell half the level of this spell (rounded down) or less you regain a spell slot of an equivalent level of the spell being cast by the creature. In addition, the creature’s spell fails. If you do not have an available spell slot to regain of the appropriate level, you may regain an available spell slot of a lower level. If the creature is casting a spell higher than half the level of this spell, the Siphon fails.
At Higher Levels. This spell may be cast at higher levels to siphon higher level spells, as long as the spell being siphoned is half the level or less than the level you are casting this spell at. For example, cast at 6th level to siphon a 3rd level spell.
