  1. If the character has some help, cut this time in half. A single character doing nothing else can help one or two adjacent characters. Two characters can't help each other don armor at the same time.

Armor fashioned for use by the worshipers of the brothers and sisters of the Wood, the armors of the Seldarine are sought after treasures for druids, rangers and many other professions that immerse themselves within the natural world. Handcrafted by elves and feykind on the outer plane of Arvandor, the armor consists of strong paleaves intertwined with fine fibres, creating a living suit of protective armor. Armor of the Seldarine is treated as fashioned from paleaves and gains all the benefits of the material. The armor of the Seldarine is always masterwork; price and benefits are subsumed in the above statistics.

The armor of the Seldarine grants the following benefits when worn, on top of its general protective capabilities:

  • Armor of the Seldarine counts as a masterwork skill tool for the following skills: Climb, Handle Animal, Survival and wild empathy.
  • The armor of the Seldarine is essentially a living thing. It counts as a creature of the Plant type and is vulnerable to spells like blight. When damaged, it will naturally recover hit points at the same rate as a human being. Even if reduced to 0 hit points and effectively breaking, it is still alive and will attempt to put itself together as normal. The armor can be healed with cure spells.
  • If exposed to direct sunlight for at least 1 hour, the armor of the Seldarine will sprout 2d4 plump magical berries from random places along the torso. These berries function as per the goodberry spell and may be consumed by you or anyone else. The armor can sprout goodberries only once per day.
  • If you possess a divine spellcasting class that draws spells from nature, such as a druid or ranger, your casting-relevant ability score counts as 4 higher for the purpose of determining the number of spell slots or spells prepared.

Craft (armorsmithing and natural fibres) DC 29. Creator must be elven, fey, or have at least 1 level in a nature-based divine spellcasting class. Market Price 2,800 gp.
