The arrowpiercer bow is a masterwork longbow with two unique abilities. If you successfully hit a target, and then subsequently hit the same target with one of your iterative attacks and a equal or higher result on your attack roll your arrow strikes your previous arrow and drives it in further, effectively making a mini-critical that deals x2 damage instead of the bow's usual x3. This does not count as a critical hit for the purposes of feats and abilities that trigger off critical hits.
In addition your reactions are such that you can shoot arrows out of the air. You benefit from Deflect Arrows but you shoot incoming projectiles away. You can expand the protection of your arrow deflection out to your first range increment by taking a full attack action to ready yourself against incoming shots. The protection lasts for 1 round, and consumes attacks of opportunity for each deflection.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, true strike.
