In the land of Belatucadros, there shall be only war. Lo, for he is Belatucadros, He who is decorated in death, He whose bloodthirst is never sated. Belatucadros realm is on a massive cube named Wyrregard floating through Avalas, the first layer of Acheron, where he and his millions of troops live in a state of constant warfare with anything which draws near, or even with each other. Within the cube's hollowed out innards exists an extradimensional space that is a world all its own, an inside-out mockery of the material plane whose inhabitants are all warmongling aldrenaline junkies and blood knights. Non-warrior cultures die out rapidly and there is no hope to draw out the political maps within, as territory changes day by day, the flow of soldiers replenished by vast respawn pits which glow with fell light, and imported from captured partitioners and victims who drew too close to the cube, only for Belatucadros' minions to swarm out and enslave them. Belatucadros delights in constant war, and cares not for what reasons one fights. The ultimate game is to fight and dominate your opponent, and for the dominated to fight back and in turn become the dominators. For what is war but not the ultimate expression of the selfish gene which defines all life?

Within his golden throne sits Belatucadros, a giant 15 feet tall whose titanic form is cloaked in massive crimson and gold trimmed full plate, armor which is actually fused to and is part of his body. The armor is decorated with spikes each with a skull or corpse pinned upon it, their tortured faces preserved by foul alchemical processes. His face is obscured by black smoke billowing from the armor's helm. When his helmet is off he has the face of a vicious old man with one eye and a great spiny silver beard, whose teeth and skin are pitch black, smoke pours from his lips, his tongue made of flame and his one eye a ball of solid gold. Cloaked and decorated in his kills, when he gets upon the battlefield it is for the direct purpose of challenging one who has caught his foul eye, and he gladly cuts through his own troops to get to where he wants to be. And yet this terrifying form is said to just be an illusion of a deeper, more monstrous form hiding deep inside a cube, waiting to be freed.

Though completely bloodthirsty, he is in it for sport, and is honorable in keeping his word or even nerfing himself for a challenge. The greatest insult is not to put up a challenge, whose punishment is death, your soul being taken, and pressed into eternal service in his army until you are strong enough to oppose.

Belatucadros has taken disturbing interest in conquering the material plane recently, and if cryptic maniscripts are to be believed he may have been responsible for the fall of many a great nation...

Dogma[edit]

War is the greatest, and indeed the natural state of things. Down to the smallest microbe, one gene is at war with another using whatever weapons it can to get ahead in life. Who are we to deny this cosmic truth? Those who worship Belatucadros know of one fact; might is right.

Belatucadros is not a fan of spells, even though spellcasters may be found within his ranks. He finds most magic which does not directly augment the body or summon up weapons to be weak and dishonorable. Even so, he is tollerent of its presence enough, knowing its utility. He also has no issue with magical items and other passive abilities.

Clergy and Temples[edit]

Belatucadros temples and clergy are likely to be confused for, and actually are, military or mercinary groups. They worship in the spilling of blood and the cries of battle. In evil-dominated societies actual temples of worship may exist which include sacrifices... of a sense. The sacrifice is never bound, but sent to fight in the arena for the amusement of others and the glory of Belatucadros.

Cariocecus is worshipped surprisingly common by evil noblemen. This god preaches glory, honor, and that the strong and powerful should remain on top of the others. While outward temples are rarely built, and then being little more than military barracks, worship is often done in the field, the weapon of the worshiper blessed as both weapon and religious idol.

Styles[edit]

Cariocecus does not grant domains like a traditional god, but instead grants styles. At each level you would gain a new domain spell, instead you gain a maneuver from the associated style's discipline as a maneuver-like ability. You may choose which maneuver you learn, once gained it cannot be changed. You do not need to have the pre-requisites for the maneuver.
