Compensating Training

Use one ability score for another, provided you keep the replaced score somewhat decent as well.

Benefit: Choose a physical ability score (Str, Dex, or Con) or a mental ability score (Int, Wis, or Cha). You may use any class abilities, DCs, and other features of one physical ability for another (or one mental ability for another). However, you must keep the replaced score high enough to continue benefiting from this trait. The replaced score must be a total of 10 + the ability modifier of your other ability score.

For example, you can use Int for Cha abilities, such as spell DCs for sorcerer. If your Int is 20, you need a 15 Cha (10 + 5 modifier). Likewise if your Int is 36, you need a Cha of 23 (10 + 13 modifier). Likewise, you could be a rogue who uses their Dexterity on AC in place of Strength on attack and damage.

Drawback: You need to keep your replaced ability score decent, or you lose the benefits of this trait.

Roleplaying Ideas: Perhaps you were never good with fine dexterity tasks, but you managed with brute strength. Or you are smart, but in truth you have been using your wisdom and intuition to fake studying. Still, your mimicry can only compensate so much.
