This golden crown is decorated with small spots and a round center. Placing it on your head, you feel your princess power rising.
Those who wear this crown transform in appearance to that of royalty. They fall under a constant regal presence effect, with the sanctuary effect being able to be used 1/day. Your clothing gains the glamour of being a royal outfit as if under the effect of the glamered enhancement. It also grants a +3 competence bonus on the wearer’s Charisma-based checks.
Some crowns are set to specific roles such as king or princess, and will alter your gender accordingly. Some crowns are set to transform you not merely into a royal version of yourself, but in the appearance of a specific person or monarch it is bound to including their gender and species within the limits of alter self. These specific crowns make up 50% of randomly discovered crowns and about half of them are also cursed items which cannot be taken off without the remove curse spell.
