The bone white handle connects to a glassy black thinaun blade which glitters with golden sparks. Holding it makes you feel a discomforting sense of doom, as if something were out to kill you.
The Deathscythe is the weapon said to be wielded by Death itself, and it certainly lives up to its name. Deathscythe is a +6 impalingMIC necrotic focusMIC thinaunCW scythe that slays on a touch. Any target hit by the weapon must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Cha) or die. This is a necromantic death effect, though it ignores the death immunity of the undead. A creature only needs to save once per round regardless of how many hits they have taken.
Prerequisites: Craft Epic Magic Arms and Armor, enervation, find the gapSpC, slay living, spectral hand, must be forged in the Negative Energy Plane.
