Magic Card Duelist [Archetype]
Prerequisites: Bookish Wizard alternate class featureBenefit: Archetype Feat Bonus are based on Character Level:
- Character Level 1st: You gain a magic deck of card that replace your spellbook. Instead of finding spell as a full-round action you instead draw three cards from your deck as a full-round action, readying three spells. However whenever you cast one of your readied spell it become unreadied. Drawing again reset your spell readied to three, and you may ready the same spell multiple time. At the start of each of your turn you may spend a move action to ready a spell, but only if your hand isn't full.
- Additionally you gain exotic weapon proficiency with Throwing Cards.
- Character Level 3rd: You gain the benefits of Arcane Archer feat but only with Throwing Cards. Your hand size increase by 1.
- Character Level 8th: You can banish opponents to the shadow realm! This ability is usable 3/day out to close range, replicating the effect of plane shift but only to the plane of shadow and transport a single creature. A successful save make the target immune to further attempt for 24 hours. Your hand size increase by 1.
- Character Level 15th: You have assembled the pieces of the Forbidden One. Once per week, as a 1 round action, you may discard your hand and expend one spell of your highest available level. Doing so allow you to summon any creature of up to your CR +2 for up to 1 round/level, even unique creatures can be summoned this way. You cannot summon a creature with class level and the summoned creature is a shadow copy of the original, it leave no equipment behind and it fate does not affect the original.
Special: If you ever stop qualifying for this feat, you can trade it for another archetype feat you meet the prerequisites.
