Ninja Exorcist

Not all shinobi are Assassin, some temple train specialized priestess in the art of banishing evil spirits and allow good spirits to rest. These shinobi wander the world and seek out and destroy the threat of undeath wherever they find it. They are usually accompanied by a benign spirit or a hallowed bird, which aid them on their journey and allow them to channel holy energy.

Class: Shinobi

Level: 1st, 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 18th, 19th

Replaces: Sneak Attack, Death Attack, Rapid Death Attack, Sudden Death Attack and No Witness

Benefit: A Ninja Exorcist gain access to the following class features:

Blessed Familiar: A Ninja Exorcist gain the ability to summon a familiar much like a Wizard of her class level. The Shinobi's Familiar does not possess Share Spell, instead it possess Share Kuji-in Seals which function the same way except for sharing the Shinobi's Kuji-in Seals rather than spells. The Shinobi must select a bird familiar, a Ghostfire or a Tiny Ghost as her familiar.

If she select a non-incorporeal creatures, all attacks her familiar make count as ghost-touched.

Alternatively instead of a familiar she may gain a single bonus feat she meet the prerequisites of.

Turn/Rebuke Undead (Su): A Ninja Exorcist gain the ability to Turn or Rebuke Undead (chosen at 1st level level) as a Cleric of her class level. She may only use her Turn/Rebuke Undead ability while her familiar is adjacent to her. She never risk turning or rebuking her familiar if undead.

Sudden Strike (Ex): A Ninja Exorcist gain 1d6 of Sudden Strike at 2nd level, 4th level and each 4 levels thereafter.

Ghost-Hunting Technique (Ex): A 3rd level Ninja Exorcist gain a +1 bonus on attack roll and +2 on damage rolls against undead creature, her training also allowed her to react to incorporeal attack much more effectively gaining a +1 dodge bonus to AC against incorporeal touch attack. These bonuses increase by +1 (attack and AC) and +2 (damage) at 6th level and each 6 level thereafter. As long as she has at least one ki points left in her pool, all her weapon and armors are treated as Ghost-Touched. Finally a Ninja Exorcist learn the following Kuji-in Seals at the appropriated level:

Ghost-Revealing Candle (Su): A Ninja Exorcist gain the ability to enhance a candle with her ki, allowing it to reveal ghost and other ethereal hidden things. As a standard action she may light a candle which also reveal things as the corpse candleCA, although no other aspect of the spell. The effect carry for as long as the candle is burning. This is a 1st level Kuji-in Seals.
Banishing Rites (Su): As a swift action, the Ninja Exorcist can grant herself the Exorcism Domain Power for 1 minute. This is a 2nd level Kuji-in Seals and replace the Muramasa Spirit Kuji-in Seal. This is a 2nd level Kuji-in Seals.
Protective Ofuda (Su): A Ninja Exorcist can create an ofuda which is alarming to weak ghosts and undead. As a full-round action she can prepare and place an ofuda on a 5 ft. square, it can be placed alongside a wall, floor or ceiling. All undead of 4 HDs or lower are At Bay from the ofuda and a 20-feet radius area around it. The effect cause Mindless Undead of any HDs to avoid the area and not attack creature within it unless directly provoked. The effect is even more pronounced on incorporeal undead of 4 HD or less who must make a Will save to enter the area, otherwise they are unable to enter it at all. The ofuda last an hour, after which it lose potency. At 11th level the effect now extend to all undead of 8 HDs or less and completly lose the HD limit at 19th level. This is a 2nd level Kuji-in Seals.
Temporary Ghostlight (Su): As a swift action, the Ninja Exorcist can transform any light source they carry into a Ghostlight for 1 round per level. It effect are as the ghostlight or as the radius of the light source, whichever is lower. This is a 2nd level Kuji-in Seals.
Cursebreaking Prayer (Su): With 1 minute worth of prayer and meditation, the Ninja Exorcist replicate the effect of break enchantment. If she fail to break a particular effect she may not try to do so again until she gain a level. This is a 3rd level Kuji-in Seals.
Ghost-Eating Blade (Su): As a standard action you may make your weapon extremely baneful to incorporeal undead for 1 minute, dealing an additional 1d6 damage on every successful strike against them. If they are slain by your weapon or while your weapon is adjacent to them, they are drawn into it, become trapped as per soul bind. They must be moved into a proper receptacle within the duration of the effect or else their soul will be left free. You can end the duration early as part of an attack action, discharging the effect in the form of a dismissal effect. This is a 3rd level Kuji-in Seals and replace the Exorcism Blade Kuji-in Seal.
Final Rites (Su): As a standard action the Ninja Exorcist can utter a short prayer over the corpse of a formerly living creature or formerly undead creature who was slain or put down within the last minute. If the creature was living, it cannot be raised as an undead and if it was raised as a spawn within the last minute, the spawn is immediately destroyed. If the creature was undead, it soul pass on normally and it does not return as an undead again. This does not work on exceptionally powerful undead such as ghosts or liches, although a ghost will take a -2 penalty on it next Rejuvenation check. This is a 4th level Kuji-in Seals.
Light of the Kirin (Su): As a full-round action a Ninja Exorcist can force all undead within 120 feet of her who were turned or rebuke by her to make a Fortitude save or be instantly destroyed. This ability radiate light as the daylight spell which linger 1d4 rounds as dim illumination. This is a 5th level Kuji-in Seals.
Spirit-Ending Blow (Su): As a standard action you may make a single unarmed attack against a foe, striking their very essence, this attack deal an additional 1d6 damage per class level and is resolved as an incorporeal touch attack. If a living creature is slain by this attack, it must make a Will save or have it soul destroyed and unable to pass on, requiring a wish or miracle to restore their soul before being raised or resurrected. If the target was undead it must also make a Will or face a similar fate, negating any re-spawning abilities it may have. A lich gain a +8 bonus on this save, but if it fail it phylactery remotely shatter. This is a 6th level Kuji-in Seals.

Familiar Bound (Ex): A 6th level Ninja Exorcist either gain Advanced Familiar or Improved Familiar as a bonus feat. If she choose an Improved Familiar she must select an Undead creature or an Outsider with a matching alignment.

If she selected the bonus feat at 1st level, she gain another bonus feat you meet the prerequisites of.

Soul Protection (Ex): A 9th level Ninja Exorcist has immunity to magic jar, soul bind, trap the soul, a ghost’s malevolence ability, and all other spells or effects that displace or replace a her life force. She can still travel to the planes via astral projection, if so desired.

Master Exorcist A 19th level Ninja Exorcist is dreaded by the undead, her very presence being baneful to them. All undead creatures are At Bay from the Ninja Exorcist unless their CR is higher than her character level. She may exclude any undead from this ability as a free action.
