A paladin of the gate is a paladin focused on fighting and destroying eldritch abomination and other creatures that lurk in the dark and chaos.

Level: 1st-20th
Replaces: Skills, Spellcasting, Aura of Courage, Lay on Hand, Smite Evil, Special Mount, Turn Undead
Benefit: A Paladin of the Gate receive the following class features:
A paladin of the Gate may use intelligence instead of charisma on all her class features (such as divine grace and smite evil).
Skills: The paladin's skill list and skill points changes to the following;
(4 + Int modifier) Balance (Dex), Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Knowledge (dungeoneering) (Int), Knowledge (religion) (Int), Knowledge (the planes) (Int), Knowledge (xenotheric) (Int), Listen (Wis), Perform (weapon drill) (Cha), Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Spellcraft (Int), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis), Swim (Str), and Tumble (Dex).
Spellcasting: A paladin of the gate add the following spell on her paladin spell list and has access to the aberration hunter domain as a cleric of her level (including the bonus domain spell), additionally she may use her intelligence for the purpose of determining her bonus spell per day and the DCs of her spells.
1st- alhazarde lance, sense no evil
2nd- alhazarde's sword, shun aberration
3rd- dismissal, passage of the warp
4th- banishment, portal recall
Dark Knowledge: A paladin of the gate possess dark knowledge as an archivistHoH of her class level.
Smite Eldritch Abomination: A Paladin of the Gate's smite evil ability is augmented to smite eldritch abomination. It work as smite evil however it deal double smite damage on all creature of the aberration type, outsider with the augmented aberration subtype, creatures with the abomination subtype, outsider native to the far realm, obyrith and elder evils.
Forbidden Knowledge: A 2nd level paladin of the gate receive forbidden knowledge as a bonus feat even if shes does not meet the prerequisites.
Gatecrasher: A 2nd level paladin of the gate gain gatecrasher as a bonus feat.
Aura of Iron Will: A 3rd level paladin of the gate is immune to fear-effect and confusion and similar effect (including insanity and dementia). Each ally within 10 feet of her gains a +4 morale bonus on saving throws against fear and confusion effects. This count as Aura of Courage for the purpose of prerequisites.
Elder Sign: A 4th level paladin of the gate is capable of drawing an elder sign, doing so require 10 minutes of work. An area warded by an elder sign is under the effect of antipathy toward any creature of the aberration type, outsider with the augmented aberration subtype, creatures with the abomination subtype, outsider native to the far realm and obyrith. A paladin of the gate cannot have more than one elder sign per class level at any time, any sign drawn after this limit cause the oldest sign's power to wane and vanish.
Seal the Gate: Whenever a 8th level paladin of the gate can expend one of her smite eldritch abomination attempt for the day to automatically destroy or close any portal with a melee attack. The portal is so disrupted that it cannot be re-opened for 1 day per class level (which may allow the paladin to come up with a better solution).
