The safety and ethics committee were breathing down her neck, so Bianca developed a spell dedicated to showing she was serious about safety. It also justified her becoming reckless with her chemicals, because the magic would protect her.
The target gains protection against chemicals, alchemical effects, and poisons. They are immune to splash damage. In addition, you gain a +2 bonus on saves against alchemical items, and on saves against accidentally poisoning yourself (but no other situation where you may be poisoned).
