Seeker Bee
Divination [Animal]
Level: Cleric 2, Druid 2, Ranger 1, Sorcerer/Wizard 2
Components: V, S, F/DF
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: 1 mile/level
Effect: One tracking bee.
Duration: 10 minutes/level
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

A small golden bee appears upon a flower and flies off. An hour later it returns, and begins dancing rapidly. For the caster who summoned it, it was the best GPS instructions ever.

You create a small golden bee which could pass for a normal bee, though it gives off a faint glow in darkness and is visible by detect magic as a magical effect. You give the bee instructions (one sentence or so) on a creature, object, or event to look for and sent it off.

Make a check of 1d20 + your caster level + 10, this is your survival check for the purpose of the bee tracking down what you seek as if it had the Track feat. The bee is a fine sized construct with 10 hp, AC 26 (+16 size), a fly speed of 60 ft (perfect), saves as the caster, darkvision 60 ft, low-light vision, scent, +10 hide and move silently skills, and constant spot and listen checks equal to the survival check made.

When it finds its target it immediately flies back to the caster and lands on the focus (a flower), then proceeds to dance rapidly. The caster can understand the dance after 1 minute of dancing and determine the exact location of the target and the best way to get there (by either the most direct, the safest, or the fastest route). For creatures, it tells of the spot it saw them last and their direction and speed, if any, making it possible to predict where a creature may be going assuming the creature has not altered course.

If the bee is destroyed, it cannot return to transmit information but the caster is aware of the bee's destruction and the location it was destroyed at. The bee also is destroyed if it exceeds the range.

Focus: A flower (or divine focus).
