Spellbound Familiar [Skill] You possess the ability to summon a familiar as an extension of your will. Benefits: This is a skill feat that scales with your ranks in Spellcraft.

• 0 ranks: You gain a familiar as a wizard, you use your character level instead of your class level or caster level to determine which familiar you can get and your familiar bonus. You no longer take any penalties when your familiar dies and you may summon another familiar of the same kind with a 1 hour ritual. If you already had a familiar you count as two levels higher for the purpose of which familiar you can take.
• 4 ranks: You gain the benefits of either Advanced Familiar or Improved Familiar, this only applies to the familiar granted by this feat.
• 9 ranks: You may recall your familiar to any square adjacent to you as an immediate action, this function over unlimited distance except even across planes. Choose three level 0 spells from the Sorcerer/Wizard list, your familiar may use those spells at will.
• 14 ranks: Choose a 3rd level spell, a 2nd level spell and 1st level spell from the Sorcerer/Wizard list. Your familiar may use the 3rd level spell once per day, the 2nd level spell twice per day and the 1st level spell once per day.
• 19 ranks: As long as you live, your familiar hit point cannot be brought below 0 hit point, this ability only functions while within 10 feet of you.
