Fireball and the Touch[edit]

Actually Fireball doesn't have a ranged touch attack. The whole thing about the bead of fireball is if you're trying to squeeze line of effect through something small, like a chain link fence. Not that it really matters, as you'd just aim at someone's feet to get things to explode.

I may come back on this and re-word it for maximum summarizing goodness. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 09:35, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

If you aim at their feet, you're basically aiming at the square they're in, and they get a Reflex save. Aim directly at them, and they don't (but get a chance to dodge). Aim at something too close to you, and you get blown the hell up. --Luigifan18 (talk) 04:34, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
I was referring to fireball, not this ability. But yes. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 06:10, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
Also, I'm fairly sure that the whole "needs ranged attack roll to pass through small spaces" shtick is a unique attribute of fireball and its relations; most line-of-effect effects just go to their destinations without any issues. --Luigifan18 (talk) 17:36, 5 September 2018 (MDT)
