Two bonus feats equates to one LA by itself. The rest equates to another LA. If this was a race of itself, it would be an LA 1 race, but as a template, it becomes LA 2, since it is already applied to a race. --Havvy 02:04, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

Why would two bonus feats equal an LA? The way I see it, an LA has to account for more than just what you might achieve in a level (say a dip into cleric can easily net you two feats, d8 hp, some saves, some skill points, and some spells). So unless the two feats are Divine Metamagic and Robilars gambit, I hardly see how 2 feats would equal one LA.

The only concern I'd have would be the "Add your X to your Y" business, but even that may be alright. Also your math might be off, if this on a race is ECL 2 by being LA 1, then it wouldn't reason that the template would be LA 2. That would mean the creature is ECL 3 to start out, not ECL 2. -- Eiji-kun 02:11, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

Havvy is actually right. As said in the Savage Species, two bonus feats worth +1 LA. Every race has some supplementary power : Humans have one bonus feat and more competence points, Elans can lower received damage by expending psi points, etc. But as a template, it shouldn't have any, so +2 LA is perfectly right for 2 feats + some powers.--Idlem 19:48, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

What I would want to know concerning the 2 feats, is this just a one time 1st level only or does it continue as the character gains levels? I found it to be a bit ambiguous in this regard. If it is just 1st level only, I can't see the need for that +2 LA, but if it did add for each time a new feat is granted (3,6,9,15,18,etc.) then I would agree that it should be a +2 LA.User:Getty 19:46, 6 December, 2016

Not the creator, but can confirm it is 2 feats, but two per time you get a feat. As someone whose used this before, it actually edges on the stronger side for its LA, so it should be fine. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 01:56, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
