Poor Genowhirl. I don't know what changes he did to this, and I'm sure he tried his best. Unfortunately he started with garbage, and all one can do is make a slightly cleaner pile of garbage. Gan covered most of the problems with it. I just wanted to express my sympathies.

Okay, doing this as I go. Not sure what the Juggernaut feat is or where. Not sure about the whole Orders thing either. "Proficient with any weapon that they craft"... so they can't loot and use a +3 super rail cannon, but they can craft and use a super rail cannon. Okay. Also, why is the armor extra heavy? How extra heavy? Oh, it doesn't say. Oh, free all Construct traits at 1st level of the class. Command at will? Still wondering how much scrap is enough scrap. Guess we'll never know. Thrown weapons have a range increment of 10', nice that you've got a 30' radius on the explosion I'm sure that's only going to always cause problems in combat (duh). Everyone in a 30' radius knocked prone no save is dumb, but I'm sure you didn't need me to tell you that, because you were probably also in that area. What the Partial Action?! Also hey free shot guns for everyone? Hey mundane magic missile. Good thing we still don't have costs on any of this stuff. Or like HP for sundering. Also, no limit on the number of those servo arms you can put on things. Enjoy having an extra attack every day added to you when downtime. By the end of the campaign, you'll be like 50 attacks or whatever I don't even care and I doubt anyone else does either or is surprised by this point in reading this. Also, this is a class focused on making things but doesn't actually use the Craft skill at all for anything ever in it.

By the way, all Extraordinary and since text trumps table... you get them all at first level. Probably should have considered some peer review of this sooner, but eh.

Scrap Adamantine?

Level one ability, it says "given about a day and enough scrap material" you can build a suit that would make Ironman jealous. Disregarding the fact that 24 hours wouldn't be nearly enough time to realistically fabricate a super suit, what qualifies as scrap materials? Does the builder actually need adamantine, or will any material do, and we assume his 10 ranks of engineering can turn spit and balsa wood into a Tony Stark-Iron Golem lovechild? I'm all about some suspension-of-disbelief, I'd just like to hear your thoughts on the matter. --The Badger 04:31, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

Hah. Well, I'd honestly rule that, yes, they need some metal components and other bits and pieces as part of "enough scrap material". But they don't have to be super-grade or specially shaped, and the result doesn't have to be pretty. Then again, it depends on the tone of the game. If it's a lighter game, it would fit perfectly for the Golem-Knight to show up in his full badass armor and answer questions about when he did it with, "What? I had all day yesterday..."--Genowhirl 04:40, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for reminding me by posting here, I have to check over this PrC once I'm done with the others :P Surgo 04:51, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
I'll try to keep my user page updated, so you can keep tabs on that for anything new. --Genowhirl 05:00, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
