Harmful Cure[edit]
Cure Diease makes you fail against diseases. Wat? -- Eiji-kun 02:44, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- It makes the disease succeed against you. --Foxwarrior 23:03, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- That's just confusing though. Not the effect, the effect is awesome, but the name... there's no way I can translate it to mean what you're saying. -- Eiji-kun 00:43, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- This might be less confusing, and more consistent with SRD naming conventions, if it were called 'Heal Disease' by analogy with 'Heal Mount'. In 3.5, the word 'Cure' in a spell name is normally followed by the condition the target is cured of. --Ideasmith 01:05, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- Good point. And it remains sufficiently ridiculous for my tastes. --Foxwarrior 01:06, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- Personally, I burst out laughing when I noticed the wordplay in this spell. You aren't healing the victim, you're healing the disease! That just cracked me up. --Luigifan18 (talk) 23:04, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
