Demon Subtype[edit]

This is aparently the only monster in the LD that has the demon subtype. Intentional or oversight? - Tarkisflux 05:15, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

Oversight. Thanks for the catch; it has now been corrected. - TG Cid 14:00, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

The Image?[edit]

How has the picture not been removed yet? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.11.32.42 (talkcontribs) at

If it's because of copyright, it's here under Fair Use and sourced correctly as per Wiki policy. If it's because it's graphically inappropriate, it's because no one voiced any complaint until now. It's not really that bad, and the picture itself is awesome if you ignore the partial nudity (even better if you don't). - TG Cid 20:03, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
I have no problems with it, I'm just curious. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.11.32.42 (talkcontribs) at
It's a page 3 girl. It's arguably NSFW (as opposed to clearly NSFW like a description of rape or other act of intercourse), but its style is pretty standard for fantasy art. I'd prefer a different picture here, but not so much as to make an issue out of it. - Tarkisflux Talk 19:29, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
Page 3 girl? What does that mean? --Havvy 22:59, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
It's a topless model on page 3 of the Sun in the UK. Wikipedia article here. My point was that topless nudity is less SFW in some parts of the world than others, as opposed to other explicit pictures or descriptions which are pretty clearly NSFW. - Tarkisflux Talk 23:30, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
To be fair, D&D has similarly racy art in quite a few books, but it's not really tasteful there either. I just think that was the picture that best symbolized what I thought the marilith looked like with the six arms and general awesomeness. I can see why it could be interpreted as NSFW, but without any complaints I don't see any real reason to do so. - TG Cid 01:39, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
