I rather it scaled 10 + 10/level. Either way, while telapthy is useful but not overtly powerful, it does open up the opportunity for Mindsight cheese. I'm uncertain about this not having a level cap of any sort. If it was 10+10ft, at least it wouldn't be overtly superior to trying to dip Mindbender for it. -- Eiji-kun 04:21, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

I like this idea too, a way to gain telepathy that does not include a forced class combo or the like. Tho this has a few loopholes. As to, why the whole D&D world isn't comunicating telepathicaly from the ground up. This feat would mean that, you have 13+ int or cha? Congratulations you can talk with your mind, badass. But it is a bit wonky. Ok the whole telepathy thing is not so intense, but the "world" ramifications would be quite severe. Now if you look at monster entries and the like, not to mention the class combo wo get telepathy, you can see a certain pattern. This could have an aditional prerequisite, more out of flavor and simply to not be so widespread: "You need to be able to cast, manifest a spell/power, spell/psi like, supernatural, exrairdinary ability that has the mind-affecting descriptor." And presto! Most of the people who can dominate or squish your mental state can do so without opening their mouth (some already can). Oh yes and why the set number + increase? Why not just a progressive increase 10(15)ft/level, that is 300ft at 20th level (you can mentaly whisper to someone a soccer filed away from you). Plus when you implement this in a campaign you can simply swith all telepathy to such a progression (so a pit fiend would have a larger radius than a erinyes). I would vote for a 10ft/level increase, lets comapre it to a telepath, who can gain telepathy at 5th level, which is 5ft/manifester level. --Sergejsvk 16:43, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
