Power Word Catatonia
Illusion (Phantasm) [Mind-Affecting]
Level: Sorcerer/Wizard 7
Components: V
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target: One creature
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes

Calling on their immense ability to distort minds, the caster entraps the mind of a nearby living creature in a world entirely made from their own delusions or fantasies, leaving them locked in a prison of their own making - and throwing away the key.

The target completely loses sensory contact with the outside world. This works regardless of whether they can hear the caster or not. The subject's senses are completely fabricated by their own mind, though the creature may not realize this. In reality, the target is a limp, sprawled, drooling creature, which will eventually die of thirst and starvation (counts as prone and unconscious). The target continues to act this way until its actual death. If the creature's CR is greater than your caster level, this spell has no effect.

Removing creatures from this state requires a greater restoration, limited wish, miracle or wish.
