When you manifest this power, you gain temporary hit points equal to twice your current hp, but your maximum hp amount is reduced to 1 hp for the duration. This gives you a lot of hit points at the moment, but makes you difficult to heal as you only have 1 hp. For the purposes of Power Word spells, your temporary hit points count towards your current hp amount.

At the end of the duration, your maximum hp returns to normal and you are healed a number of hit points equal to half your remaining temporary hit points.
