Brew Restorative Potion [Item Creation] You've learned the secrets to imbuing restorative magics into potions, with some unique techniques as well.Prerequisites: Caster level 3rd or Heal 6 ranks.Benefit: You can create a potion of any 3rd-level or lower Conjuration (Healing) spell as if you were a cleric or druid of your level. Brewing a restorative potion takes 2 hours if its base price is 250 gp or less, otherwise brewing a restorative potion takes 1 day for each 1,000 gp in its base price. When you create a restorative potion, you set the caster level, which must be sufficient to cast the spell in question and no higher than your own level. The base price of a restorative potion is its spell level × its caster level × 25 gp. To brew a potion, you must use up raw materials costing one half this base price.

Additionally, you may brew the following alternative restorative potions. These alternative potions have their own base price calculations.

  • Yellow Potion: You can brew a yellow potion of any 3rd-level or lower cure spell that you know (typically cure light wounds, cure moderate wounds, cure serious wounds). Instead of its usual effect, the potion grants an amount of temporary hit points to the target instead of restoring lost hit points, which stack with temporary hit points from other yellow potions, up to the amount of damage a creature has. These temporary hit points can never exceed the amount of damage currently afflicting a creature. Any excess temporary hit points are lost. Every minute the target loses 2 of these temporary hit points, but heals 1 hp until all temporary hit points granted by a yellow potion are lost. The base price of a yellow potion is its spell level × its caster level × 10 gp. To brew a yellow potion, you must use up raw materials costing one half this base price.
  • Green Potion: You can brew a green potion of any 3rd-level or lower cure spell that you know (typically cure light wounds, cure moderate wounds, cure serious wounds). Instead of its usual effect, the potion only removes an amount of nonlethal damage to the target instead of restoring lost hit points. The base price of a green potion is its spell level × its caster level × 10 gp. To brew a green potion, you must use up raw materials costing one half this base price.

Special: This feat counts as Brew Potion for the purpose of meeting prerequisites. Whenever you would be granted that feat as a bonus feat you may take this feat instead.
Reference: 3rd level and lower Conjuration (Healing) spells: cure light wounds, cure moderate wounds, cure serious wounds, delay poison, lesser restoration, neutralize poison, SRD:Remove Blindness/Deafness, remove disease, remove paralysis
